Travel Influencer Unable to "Speak, Eat, and Walk", Passes In the Philippines

Travel influencer Vanessa Konopka had the experience we all fear when leaving home. Konopka passed away at 28 years old, after falling so ill she was unable to "speak, eat, and walk" according to Dailymail.co.uk.

Konopka, originally from Germany, ran her Youtube channel Happiness Crossing, exploring the world and documenting it.

"I have been full time traveling and working from my laptop since 2019", shares the Youtube channel description, "and I want to share my weekly videos with you to entertain, inspire, and motivate you."

Konokpha met her boyfriend while exploring in Australia, and then the couple moved in together in 2022. Located in Borocay, an area of the Philippines, this is where the two "documented their lives."

It was after New Year's Eve when Konokpha became extremely sick with pneumonia and liver damage, documenting her progress on her channels. After some time, she was air transported from the hospital in the Philippines, back to Germany for further treatment and to spend time with her family says the New York Post.

After two weeks, her illness ramped up once more, until she lost her battle on March 7th.

“I trust in him, I know he is with Vanessa and I know God is always with us," her boyfriend Fernando shares. ”Kushka, if you are perhaps reading this somewhere, thank you so much for teaching me how to love myself, it doesn’t matter what other people think, she showed me how to love myself, and how to follow my dreams. I will forever love you and we may see each other again."
