Teddi Mellencamp gave fans an update on her recent brain surgery, revealing that doctors removed more tumors than expected.

On Wednesday, the "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shared her health update on Instagram, confirming that doctors successfully removed four tumors, more than the two initially expected.

Mellencamp, 43, thanked her medical team for the successful procedure and for making her recovery "comfortable." However, she did acknowledge that her battle is still ongoing.

"This fight is not over, but that round has been won," she shared on her Instagram.

Earlier this month, Mellencamp revealed that she had been experiencing "severe and debilitating headaches" which forced her to visit the ER. After some tests, the doctors discovered multiple tumors in her brain. While the surgery removed the larger tumors, she has plans for radiation therapy to address the remaining smaller ones.

Throughout this challenging period, the reality star received support from her family, friends, and fans. Her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, has shared updates on her condition, noting that while the surgery was successful, she is experiencing "so much pain" during recovery.

Mellencamp’s health journey has been marked by previous battles with skin cancer, having had over 17 melanoma spots removed, People reported. Advanced melanoma can metastasize to the brain, although she did not reveal if her past health struggles contributed to her brain tumors.

As she continues her recovery, Mellencamp remains optimistic and appreciative of the support she has received. She has expressed determination to face the challenges ahead and is grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers from her community.

"As I move on to the next steps in my treatment, I just wanted to say thank you to everybody for the outpouring of love and prayers. I see them, and they're definitely helping me stay strong," she added.
