Dolph Lundgren was seen out with his wife, Emma Krokdal, for the first time since announcing that he's set to be cancer-free after a nine-year battle with the disease.
The “Rocky IV” actor was spotted in Beverly Hills on Friday, just two days after sharing his uplifting news about his health. In 2023, Lundgren revealed that he had been battling cancer for almost a decade and that doctors had given him only two to three years to live.
“I feel very well. Very nice. I had a procedure last week, so I’m very happy about that,” Lundgren told the Daily Mail.
The couple was seen exiting Bomane Salon. The 67-year-old actor wore a black hoodie, black shorts, white leggings, and black trainers.
Emma, 28, was wearing a red sweatshirt, black leggings, and black boots. The couple tied the knot in 2023.
On Wednesday, Lundgren shared a video on Instagram, telling his fans that he’s on his way to being cancer-free. Filming from his hospital bed at UCLA, the actor said he would be undergoing lung ablation treatment to get rid of his “last tumor.”
“Here I am at UCLA, I'm about to go in and get rid of that last tumor,” he shared.
“Since there are no cancer cells in my body anymore, I guess I’ll be cancer-free, so I'm looking forward to this procedure.”
An Ablation is a minimally invasive procedure that destroys tumor tissue through heat or cooling methods while preserving as much organ function as possible, the Mayo Clinic explained.
In 2020, the “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” star underwent surgery to remove six tumors from his body. At the time, the actor had only hoped his medications and treatment would help extend his life. Now, he's set to be cancer-free!
