A Journey into Integrative Medicine

In 2004, Dr. Siegel's career took a transformative turn when her show horse, Lilly, and her youngest daughter were involved in a riding accident. Lilly literally saved the child’s life. It was later discovered that Lilly had developed debilitating neck spasms that led to the accident.

Traditionally trained equine veterinarians were unable to offer solutions for Lilly other than retirement or euthanasia.  Unwilling to give up, Dr. Siegel explored alternative therapies, which opened the door to Bioregulatory Medicine (identifying and resolving the root cause of dis-ease). This journey led her to study and incorporate modalities that targeted the biological pathways to restore function. Modalities included ozone, chiropractic, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, energy therapies, low level light therapy, photodynamic therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, halo therapy, full spectrum infrared, sound healing and more into her practice.

The result? An expansive “tool kit” incorporating the best of holistic medicine and western medicine that addresses the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms.
