Emilian Popa is a visionary health-tech entrepreneur, driven by a passion for health optimization and longevity. A decade ago, Emilian’s life was drastically different. His high-flying career as a venture builder and investor had taken a toll on his health. Despite following a lifestyle he believed to be healthy, he experienced chronic fatigue, brain fog, and metabolic imbalances. Medical consultations offered little resolution, leading to a frustrating cycle of misdiagnoses. This health crisis forced Emilian to reassess his lifestyle and led him to the world of biohacking, where he began tracking his biomarkers and experimenting with health optimization strategies.

Through self-experimentation, Emilian discovered that his health issues were rooted in high inflammation and hormonal imbalances. After addressing these factors using personalized wellness strategies, he regained control over his health. This personal transformation inspired him to build Expand Health, a platform designed to make cutting-edge health solutions accessible to people across the globe.

With Expand Health, Emilian’s goal is simple: to embed wellness into the fabric of everyday life. The company operates two flagship longevity hubs—one in Cape Town and another in Bucharest. These hubs are not only luxurious wellness centers but also data-driven environments where clients undergo personalized health assessments and treatments such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cryotherapy, IV drips, and more. By leveraging AI and data, the hubs offer clients a continuously evolving health optimization plan tailored to their unique biological makeup.
