In just two months, Trump will be back in the White House. Winning both the electoral votes and popularity votes, millions of Americans are eagerly anticipating how the 45th, and now 47th, president of the United States will revive the country and make America great again.
Trump is bent on advancing the health care system as soon as day one. Helping him put this strategic plan in place will be Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a health care and environment advocate who leads the Make America Healthy Again movement (MAHA).
In previous interviews, RFK Jr. revealed that the president-elect had offered him a position to head government health agencies--to "reorganize" them and end chronic disease in the country.
At the top of Kennedy Jr.'s must-do on his first day: end the use of artificial dyes--one of the hottest topics in the industry today.
"The first thing I’d do isn’t going to cost you anything because I’m just gonna tell the cereal companies, take all the dyes out of their food," he said in a recent interview.
With Trump's victory and Kennedy Jr.'s prominent presence in the health sector, can the U.S.A. finally put an end to the use of toxic dye in food that's been linked to a range of potential health concerns? Particularly, will #CancelKelloggs prevail?
Why #CancelKelloggs?
The campaign started around 2018, when the multinational food manufacturing company did not come through with its 2015 promise to remove artificial dyes from its foods.
Interestingly, Kellogg's has done so for other countries, like Canada, where its Froot Loops cereals are colored using concentrated carrot juice, watermelon juice, and blueberry juice. Its spin-off company, Kellanova, also uses natural dyes for cereals in Australia and the U.K.
Yet, in the U.S., the company continues to use artificial dyes and BHT preservatives that pose major health risks and are banned in other countries.
For example, Red Dye No. 40 (also known as Allura Red AC, Red 40 Lake, and FD&C Red no. 40 Aluminium Lake) has been linked to mental disorders like attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) in children. Yellow Dye No. 5 may cause skin irritation and cause allergic reactions.
Some companies have even renamed these chemicals in what seems to be an effort to hide them from consumers.

Who wants to #CancelKellogs?
Millions are now standing up to Kellogg's, calling to boycott the Chicago, Illinois-based food manufacturing company until it removes the poisonous chemicals from its products. Celebrities, influencers, doctors, and health experts have joined parents in the fight to keep children's foods safe.
HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITIES
Actress Eva Mendes has been very vocal about her stance on the issue, educating her 6.6 million followers on Instagram about the dangers to children's health brought about by Kellogg's refusal to move.
Reality TV superstar, author, podcast host, and mom Kristin Cavallari has also warned about the risks posed by what she calls "horrendous" toxic chemicals in cereals.
Other celebrities who have made their voices heard in the #CancelKelloggs campaign include Jillian Michaels, Chef Marc Murphy, and Megyn Kelly.
HEALTH EXPERTS
Wellness experts and biohacking gurus have also joined in.
Dave Asprey, known as the "Father of Biohacking," has discussed the horrors of cereals and Kellogg's in many of his interviews and podcast episodes.
Best-selling author and cancer nutritionist, Liana Werner-Gray, spoke at the Kellogg's headquarters protest in October, where she pointed out that the known carcinogen, BHT, remains in American foods. She is also at the forefront of the largest food petition ever, with over 400,000 signatures forcing Kellogg's to make a move.
Asprey and Werner-Grey, two leading figures in the field of wellness, are featured in the Lolli Brands Entertainment documentary, "Biohack Yourself," set to premiere in December at the Longevity Fest 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The film brings together an all-star cast of world-renowned experts and insiders to shed light on longevity and anti-aging medicine, discovering cutting-edge tools to transform health and well-being.
Also supporting the cause is Courtney Swan, an integrative nutritionist and real food advocate. Swan has been using her platform to promote change in America’s broken food system to her more than 470,000 followers.
Dr. Will Cole, a functional medicine expert, also believes the food brand has to make changes toward a healthier America and has joined the move to boycott Kellogg's.
Swan and Dr. Cole are also part of the upcoming Lolli Brands documentary, "sHEALed," which will focus on female health.
The film, premiering on Amazon Prime in 2025, will dive deep into a woman's health journey from inception to cessation. It will feature interviews and insights from Swan, Dr. Cole, and other top women's health specialists.

Can #CancelKelloggs prevail?
It has been a long and hard-fought battle to bring Kellogg's to acknowledge its health transgressions against America and start making changes, and that fight continues. However, that doesn't mean the movement isn't making any progress.
Vani Hari, best-selling author and founder of Truvani, said in a recent interview that supermarkets and grocery store chains are now considering removing Kellogg's cereals from their shelves.
"They're discounting Kellogg's at an enormous rate that I've never seen before," Hari, who has been leading the campaign, told NewsMax2.
Kennedy Jr. also vowed to push cereal companies to make changes in their products' ingredients and hinted at eliminating federal agency departments that are allowing this to happen.
"Why do we have Froot Loops in this country that have 18 or 19 ingredients and you go to Canada and it’s got two or three,” the former presidential candidate told MSNBC.
Trump has also promised to let Kennedy Jr. "go wild" on health care because he "knows about it better than anybody."
All these point to a better, healthier America as soon as January 20, 2025, comes–the first day of Trump back in office.
