A podcast conversation, a shared vision and two diagnoses in the family: how the Lollis and Yadgarov came to see eye to eye on the children's vision documentary

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA – September 2026 – Lolli Brands Entertainment has named Igor Yadgarov Casting Director of "WYNX," the feature documentary on children's vision and the brain produced, directed by, and starring Love and Legend Lolli through their company, Love & Legend Films. Yadgarov brings years inside the optical industry to the production, along with a working knowledge of media and of what business owners in medical fields need to be seen.

"WYNX" takes the twelve questions every parent already has about their children's eyes and has two children ask them of the biggest names in the field: why a generation is going nearsighted, what screens and household light do to a growing eye, why reading exhausts a child who can see perfectly, whether blue-light glasses work, and what a family can do at home tonight.

The rule of the film is simple. If the children do not understand the answer, it does not make the cut. The film took a personal turn when both children were diagnosed with Irlen Syndrome, a visual processing condition that affects how the brain handles light, contrast, and the printed page.

A Meeting That Started at Home

The Lollis met Yadgarov the way families meet: through the parents of one of their children's friends. The introduction turned into two recording sessions. Yadgarov, host of the interview series "Point of Departure," sat down with Anthony Lolli and TereZa Hakobyan-Lolli for individual episodes, and the conversations did two things at once. They gave Yadgarov a deep look into the family and its body of work, and they gave the Lollis a look at his.

What surfaced was a background in the same industry the family was preparing to film. The two sides, as everyone involved now puts it, saw eye to eye.

"We didn't go looking for a casting director. We went on a podcast," said TereZa Hakobyan-Lolli, Co-Founder and Co-CEO. "Igor did his homework on both of us before either of us sat down. That told us everything about how he'll treat the practitioners in this film."

Timing Is Everything

"WYNX" was already in the family's plans. The documentary began with Love and Legend wanting to help their mother with her own eyes as a thank-you, while helping their generation better understand an area of health rarely explained to children. A follow-up evaluation connected to airway and cranial work that grew out of the studio's biological dentistry documentary later revealed that both children have Irlen Syndrome. The project became their own fight - not for their lives, but for their eyes.

"They say timing is everything," said Yadgarov. "I sat down to interview Anthony and TereZa, and within the hour we were talking about an industry I know from the inside. When I learned the kids had just been diagnosed, it stopped being a project for me. It became personal."

An Insider From Day One

Whenever the Lollis enter a new field, they bring in someone who already lives inside it, someone with deep, intimate knowledge who can eliminate the learning curve and point the production in the right direction from the first call. Lawrence Ellyard, Founder and Chairman of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists, filled that seat as Co-Producer and Casting Director of "The New Woo" trilogy, which films October 26 to 31 at Sadhguru's Isha Institute of Inner-Sciences in McMinnville, Tennessee.

While the cameras roll on the trilogy, the Biohack Yourself team will interview Sadhguru himself for the latest issue of Biohack Yourself magazine. The trilogy's ensemble includes Zachary Levi, Jack Canfield, Vishen Lakhiani, Rev. Michael Beckwith and Dr. Shefali Tsabary.

"Every time we enter a new industry, we bring in somebody who already lives in it. That's how you skip the learning curve," said Anthony Lolli, Founder and Co-CEO. "Igor knows the eye world from behind the counter and the surgery room, and the business world from marketing and behind the microphone. We saw eye to eye in the first conversation, and yes, we've heard the joke."

Where the Eyes Came In

The family's introduction to a more specialized way of thinking about vision came through Dr. Bryce Appelbaum, the neuro-optometrist who appears in "sHEALed," the studio's four-part women's health documentary.

"sHEALed" premiered at Cineum Cannes during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, where more than 250 physicians, biological dentists, filmmakers and founders gathered across three days. It later played AMC Sundial 12 in St. Petersburg, Florida, as a Sunscreen Film Festival nominee, won at the Detroit Independent Film Festival, and received Official Selections at the Touchstone Independent Film Festival and the Texas Documentary Film Festival. It is also scheduled to screen at RTF Realtime International in Worcester, England, October 23 to 25, as an Official Selection and Nominee. All four parts are streaming across multiple platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Roku, Plex, and Health News Network.

The studio's next release is "Bye Ol' Dentistry," its biological dentistry documentary. Sneak previews are running across biological dentistry conferences ahead of its planned release. Doctors and biological dentists from the film also traveled to Cannes to support "sHEALed," its sister production.

Castcading

The Lollis have a name for what happens once one of their films gets moving: castcading. On "Biohack Yourself," it began with a single connector, Steven Klein, who opened the door to the next expert, who opened the door to the next. Because Lolli films are immersive, the family tries what it finds, and every discovery leads to another. A documentary becomes a living organism with a life of its own.

"Be careful what you look for. You just might find it," said Anthony Lolli. "These deep dives could go on forever, so we give every film an ending and build the television series in from the start. When the attention brings more experts who want to be part of it, the series is where they go."

Castcading is why every Lolli film spins off into something bigger. "Biohack Yourself" spun off an entire media company. "Bye Ol' Dentistry" spun off the television series "World's Top Dentist," slated for 300 episodes. "The New Woo" trilogy has its series, "The Cure Hunter," before the trilogy is even released. "sHEALed" is in talks on a fertility series. WYNX will have its own. The feature earns the attention; the series keeps it. Yadgarov is the first link in the WYNX castcade.

From the Optical Counter and Surgery Room to the Casting Chair

Born in Tashkent and raised in Brooklyn, Yadgarov studied opticianry at New York City College of Technology and worked as a licensed optician at Robert Marc, the New York luxury eyewear house that has been dispensing since 1981. He later worked as a surgery consultant inside a refractive surgery practice alongside laser vision correction technology at Diamond Vision in NYC, giving him experience with the optical field from both the frame board and the surgery room.

He went on to found Kore Media, a digital marketing agency whose clients include LASIK, optical, and dental practices, and to build "Point of Departure," where he interviews founders and thought leaders. Together, those experiences give him familiarity with practitioners, media production, and the business needs of medical practices.

"I've spent quality time with thought leaders on my show and years building marketing for business owners," said Yadgarov. "Eye-care professionals are brilliant at what they do, and most of them have never been shown how to tell their story. That's the gap WYNX fills, and it's the part of this I'm most excited about."

A Series of His Own Is in Development

Lolli Brands Entertainment is also developing a returnable series with Yadgarov in front of the camera. The working concept is a hosted travelogue focused on the eye-care world: visiting practices, laboratories, craftspeople and specialists, entering first as a patient and then taking viewers behind the scenes into areas the public rarely sees. The lab that still finishes lenses by hand. The paediatric practice slowing a child's prescription down. The ocularist who paints prosthetic eyes by hand, a trade with perhaps a few hundred practitioners left in the world.

Nothing in it is graded, and nothing is fixed. The series goes where the work is extraordinary and brings it back, and the reason it works is the reason Yadgarov was brought in to begin with: he has stood on both sides of the optical counter, and he can get through the surgery room and understand what he is looking at.

Each featured practice or optical house would retain licensed access to its episode, trailer, short-form cuts and key art, alongside a permanent presence on Health News Network.

"There are people in this industry doing work at a level nobody outside their own zip code will ever hear about, and in ten years some of it will be gone. I want to sit in those rooms while they are still open, and bring back what happens in them,” said Yadgarov.

What Yadgarov Brings to 'WYNX'

"The eye-care world is full of good people who never get seen," said Yadgarov. "My job is to find the best of them, and to make sure Love and Legend are sitting across from people who have earned the seat."

"WYNX" is produced by Lolli Brands Entertainment, co-produced by Love & Legend Films, marketed and promoted by Biohack Yourself Media, and distributed on Health News Network. Principal photography is scheduled for winter 2027.
